Best Magnetic Lashes for Asian Eyes

Unfortunately, I have severe dry eye syndrome, and even though I absolutely loved getting eyelash extensions, I had to stop since the glue can aggravate my dry eye more. But I hated applying fake lashes with glue since it would take forever. I would constantly mess up, and it would be so hard to reapply or fix them. So, I was so excited when I discovered magnetic lashes! It took a while, but I’ve finally tested out enough to be able to review and narrow down which are the best magnetic lashes for smaller or Asian eyes.

Magnetic Lashes & Eyeliner

There are 2 types of magnetic lashes: ones with a top & bottom layer so they sandwich your regular lashes, and ones that stick to a magnetic eyeliner.

Magnetic liners are newer, so I’ve tried fewer lashes. But this is now my favorite way to apply magnetic lashes.

Tip: Do your eyeliner as you normally would with your regular liner, then draw on 2 thin layers with the magnetic liner on top of it before apply your lashes.

Best thing to do is to do 1 layer of the magnetic liner, and wait for it to completely dry. Then do a 2nd layer and wait to dry before applying your lashes. Make sure to put enough of the eyeliner on in your inner corner, since that’s where the magnet needs to attach.

Here’s a quick review on all the magnetic lashes & liner I’ve tried (best to worst):

Glamnetic

To be perfectly honest, the first time I tried Glamnetic I HATED the eyeliner. The brush frayed so quickly, and it was drying out. I messaged them, and they sent me a brand new liner! The new one was completely different, and IT IS THE BEST. These are the best magnetic lashes for Asian eyes! They fit perfectly. I like more natural lashes, so my favorite ones are Livin’ (everyday) and Venus (more dramatic wing).

Eylure ProMagnetic Liner Faux Mink Kit Volume

The liner on this was way better than the Ardell one. It would last almost all day, but I did still have to reapply. Also when the eyelash did fall off, it seemed to peel off all the eyeliner, so it made me question how large the magnetic pieces in this liner was.

Ardell Magnetic Liner & Wispies Lash Kit

The liner absolutely sucks. After a couple hours, my eyelash just popped off. The liner also dried out so quickly in the pot.

Magnetic Lashes

The great thing about the lashes that sandwich your eyelashes is that you can easily move and fix your eyelashes as needed. However, there is a much steeper learning curve in figuring out how to apply them properly. But it does get a lot easier with practice!

Tip: These are easier to apply when the bottom layer is in pieces. The top layer is should be 1 full lash, and the bottom can be 2-3 pieces.

Tip: First apply a coat of mascara on, so the lashes have something to stick to.

Here’s a quick review on all the magnetic lashes I’ve tried (best to worst):

Glamnetic

They just launched lash anchors to use with any lash, either for additional hold in the inner/outer corners or if you don’t want to use a magnetic liner. Disclaimer: I haven’t tried them since they just came out with them.

BUT honestly, I think Glamnetic has the best lashes in style, length, and quality, so I’m definitely going to be grabbing them to use for days I don’t want to use the liner.

One Two Cosmetics Flutter Full Lash

This is my favorite lash from One Two Cosmetics. They’re natural but a good length. They are a little more delicate to use than the Natural Full Lash. I would consider them to be the best magnetic lashes for Asian eyes from One Two Cosmetics.

One Two Cosmetics Natural Full Lash

This is one of the best lashes from One Two Cosmetics. They’re natural, but add enough length. However, while they looked amazing in person, they were a little heavy on my eyes in photos only.

One Two Cosmetics Natural Half Lash

It does look really natural and adds just a tiny bit of length to the outer edge of your eye. But they don’t lay completely flat since there’s only a magnet in the middle of the lash. They also really do not blend in with short lashes.

Ardell Magnetic Lash Wispies

I love Ardell Wispies in general, so I was hoping these would be good. They look good, but you get what you pay for. The magnets are much weaker. The pair I had you could see a little bit of the glue where they put the magnets onto the lashes, so I had to fill it in with black eyeliner.

Lash’d Up False Eyelashes

These were the first magnetic lashes I tried. I only got them because they were cheap on Amazon. Nothing great. If you buy a cheaper lashes, you get what you pay for. The magnets are way weaker.

Eylure Luxe Magnetic Opulent Accent Lashes

Again I love Eylure lashes, but I could not get these to work. I still have them, so I’m going to give them a try with a magnetic eyeliner at some point.

One Two Cosmetics Bold Full Lash

I don’t know why, but I could not get these lashes properly on no matter what I did. They didn’t lay properly on my lash line. I couldn’t get them to naturally bend with my eye, so it looked too bold and awkwardly glued onto my eyes.

Have you tried magnetic lashes? Which ones are your favorite?
