How to Make Pancake Cereal

Hopped on the trend & made the mini pancake cereal from TikTok! But instead of adding milk, we topped ours with some maple syrup, blueberries, and, of course, our fave Perfect Bar Refrigerated Peanut Butter cups. Even though it took a little while to make, 10 out of 10 would recommend, especially adding the PB cups. They’re so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 package Purely Elizabeth Grain-Free Pancake Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Maple syrup (we used Lakanto Maple Flavored Syrup)
  • Perfect Bar Peanut Butter Cups (chopped)
  • blueberries

Instructions

  • Prepare pancake mix according to instructions. Whisk pancake mix, egg, water, and oil.
  • Put batter into squeeze bottle or Ziploc bag & cut out a hole.
  • Heat oil in skillet at medium heat.
  • Squeeze batter into skillet into small circles.
  • Cook until golden brown & flip.
  • Repeat until you've used the whole batter.
  • Cut up Perfect Bar peanut butter cups into smaller pieces.
  • Place pancakes into bowls.
  • Top with your choice of toppings like Perfect Bar Peanut Butter Cups, blueberries, and fruit. Add maple syrup (we used Lakanto maple flavored syrup for a low-carb option).
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use a squeeze bottle.
  • If you don’t have a squeeze bottle, you can use a Ziploc bag and cut a small hole.

To make, we used a Ziploc bag because we didn’t have a squeeze bottle. If you have a squeeze bottle, it’s probably much easier, but a Ziploc bag works! Just be careful since the skillet will be hot so as not to burn yourself.

You could use any pancake mix or make them from scratch. We decided to use the Purely Elizabeth grain-free mix because it tastes amazing and is easy to make. We love the collagen one since it’s an added benefit. Also the Birchbenders one is a great healthy option!

We definitely recommend topping with maple syrup instead of putting in milk, so it doesn’t get too soggy. You can add any toppings you like! We loved the taste of the Perfect Bar peanut butter cups with the blueberries in ours. You can also use toppings like chocolate chips, coconut, bananas, and other fruit. Next time we’re thinking of adding some sprinkles to make it a funfetti / birthday cake flavor!
